The reign of Pamheiba (Garibnawaz), who succeeded to the Manipur kingdom in 1709 after the passing of his predecessor Charairongba, is chronicled in this historical research. The story examines Pamheiba's conquests, especially his military expeditions against Burma, which were motivated by retaliation for the abuse of a Manipuri princess. The thorough report also emphasizes his calculated use of marital ties to cover up military intentions, which resulted in multiple successful invasions of Burma, especially the Kabaw Valley. Significant Manipur territorial gains and noteworthy conflicts with Burmese forces occurred during this time, demonstrating Pamheiba's skilful leadership. This study explores his complicated connection with Burma and how it affected Manipur's political climate. Thirteen expeditions against the Samsok principality in the Kabaw Valley, which was strategically significant for Manipur because of its resources and closeness to Burma, were among the conflicts that resulted from this. The study emphasizes Pamheiba's military capability and his effective defense as well as his vigorous assaults against Burma. The study next looks at the unstable time after Pamheiba's abdication, which was characterized by internal power struggles and the ascent of Alaungpaya, a strong Burmese ruler who wanted to exact revenge for previous setbacks and retake lost lands. The two invasions of Manipur by Alaungpayas which caused immense destruction and temporarily uprooted King Bhagyachandra, are described in the research. In order to illustrate the intricate relationship between regional alliances and power dynamics in the 18th century, the study ends by looking at Bhagyachandra's attempts to reclaim his throne with the assistance of the Ahom monarch of Assam. The study highlights the long-lasting effects of Pamheiba's wars with Burma and casts light on the complex political and military environment of Manipur during a time of great turmoil.
